Ludovik Material

Merely a year has passed since their first couple of demo recordings but Ludovik Material already have an extensive local tour, a short European tour, and an a full-length release under their belt. Drawing on (post)punk, trip-hop, trance, electro, noise and anti-consumerist ideals, their debut album Passion for Red (Kapa Records, 2012), was described by aficionados as Slovenia’s freshest hotchpotch of rock, electronica and politics, the soundtrack to Occupy movement, and even as the new Žižek on the shelves of Slovenian underground music library.

The latter probably sounding a bit premature, it’s still safe to say that Tina Perić (vocals, lyrics), Matija Dolenc (synth, guitar, programming) and ŠKM Banda‘s Jernej Koren (drums) are certainly ones to look out for.
