KC Grad

Situated in a repossesed old warehouse built in 1884 and further redesigned as a multifunctional space, Kulturni Centar Grad works as part gallery/cultural centre and part club/music venue. It has modeled itself after similar succesful attempts in 1990s London and Berlin.

Generously supported by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Belgrade municipality Savski Venac, Grad has managed to mobilise Belgrade’s art crowd for regular participation in its diverse programme. Although it often includes plenty of usual cultural centre activites such as exhibitions, workshops and lectures, it is still best known as a vibrant nightclub with local music artists appearing alongside foreign live acts and DJs.
