20/44

Named after Belgrade’s map coordinates, 20/44 is one of the city’s best alternative river spots.

The cabin bellow the deck has been described by the owners as “bordello of the ’80s”. In a dimly lit space, old-fashioned defunct PC monitors grace both sides of the enterior, stacked in junk piles of dead media, next to a life-size sculpture of John Cleese doing the “silly walk”.

Outside on the deck, another statued pop culture icon meets the incoming visitors – Michael Jackson, bent towards the muddy Sava river, Smooth Criminal style. On weekend nights, the boat shakes to all kinds of kinky beats, from funk and nu-disco to house and minimal tech, but you are always welcome to pop in during the day for a proper riverside chill.
