Hidden deep bellow ground level, underneath Belgrade’s would-be metro station near Vuk’s monument, this neo-gothic bar is one of the city’s best kept secrets. With red brick walls dimly lit by torch-like lamps, it really feels like being inside a medieval dungeon, only the torture instruments are missing. Music is pumping industrial, post-punk and EBM variations. A couple of lovely goth lesbians are serving you at the bar, looking like they’ve just came out of Brem Stoker’s novel. What can possibly go wrong?
