Set in one of the coolest areas of old Belgrade, just near the Sava river, Mladost is an excellently designed bar (interior conceived by architects of The Tube club) which managed to integrate a modern, minimalistic aesthetics into the remnants of the city’s 19th century urban landscape. Steel, concrete and glass mix with bare brick walls and corroded armature on the ceiling, making the place elegant and gritty at the same time. Mladost is divided in two parts, each with its own DJ pult: the groundfloor bar plays disco, funk, nu jazz and house, while the basement level pumps deep house and tech beats.
