Rakia bar

Like many Balkan countries, Serbia prides on its version of rakia – fruit brandy with high alcohol content, known by many as Balkan “liquid ecstasy” due to its strong, often psychedelic effects… mhm.

The first Rakia Bar in Begrade was opened in 2006. In the next three years, another three have sprung accross the city, along with a specialised rakia shop.

At the bar you can try a wide range of tastes: more than 130 different sorts of Serbian and foreign traditional beverages which live up to high standards of quality. Each brandy in Rakia Bar is served with a special kind of snack (“meze”) which intensifies the brandy’s taste.
