Nada Pleskonjic

One of the most interesting Serbian photographers today, her breathtaking portraits capturing the depths of human emotions with an universal quality.

The special technique of liquid emulsion and porcelain paper clay sets her images in a world out of time, conflating past and present in a mesmerising way.

Nada’s university background in film is evident in her photographs that appear timeless just as classic films do. Her take on model and actress Edie Sedgwick, one of Warhol’s muses from the 1960’s, demonstrates her unique approach to photography and image making.
