Swinging the mood since 1998, as part of the Belgradeyard Sound System collective, Relja Bobic is known as the founder, artistic and managing director of Belgrade’s internationally acclaimed Dis-patch Festival of cutting-edge music & related art. As an independent art curator and culture manager he has an impressive mileage, collaborating with a number of high-profile institutions such as Transmediale (GER), Denver Biennale (USA) and Today’s Art Festival (NL).

As DJ Moodswinger, he has performed and participated at around 50 international festivals, and has recently co-organized a nomadic art project ViceVerse – a three month US tour of Belgrade (SER) and Boulder (US) artists, in collaboration with Communikey Festival from Colorado.

Moodswinger has promoted and supported a long list of international guests in local Belgrade clubs – DJ Food, Coldcut, Modeselektor, Shackleton, Sofa Surfers, Phon.O, Jamie Lidell, Kit Clayton, Sutekh, Caribou/Manitoba, Mapstation, Alec Empire, Add Noise, K.O.F.Y, Herbaliser, Matthew Herbert, Tony Morley, Rechenzentrum, DJ Vadim, Jazzanova, Four Tet, Apparat and many, many more.

He’s still searching for the perfect party, though some were pretty good. He is convinced that Jamaican music and its offsprings are the supreme party music, from roots and dancehall to dubstep and beyond. Boombaklat!
