The Soviet army memorial in Sofia, Bulgaria, recently got a colorful makeover by an unknown graffiti artist, causing the Russian embassy to protest because of an “outrageous act of vandalism”.
A nifty gesture to round up the whole postcommunism dilemma, Goodbye Lenin-style. Of course, they’re not all Marvel, but ol’ McDonald and Santa Claus are kind of part of the family, right? The inscription below reads: “Moving with the times”.

Saddly, the monument has soon been cleaned up, at the expense of the Bulgarian working people. From now on, Captain America is to be seen only in Happy Meals.
